FAQs / Help

Do I need to book to visit the Nature Trail?

You can either prepay via our website or purchase tickets at the Wildlife Trail Kiosk on the day.

I’ve lost my Annual Pass, how do I get a replacement?

Let us know at the point of booking and we will have a replacement Pass ready for you to collect when you visit.

My Annual Pass has expired, how do I buy a new one?

This can be done via our website or at the kiosk on your next visit.

How many people can I make a booking for?

We are currently taking bookings for a maximum of 6 people in a group.  Government guidelines state you must remain with your group and not interact socially with anyone outside the group you are attending with, even if you see people you know.

Will the Café be open?

Blueberry Café is open daily, located in the Garden Centre

Can I bring a picnic to the Wildlife Trail?

We welcome picnics however, we have limited space on the trail for picnics.

Please make sure to take rubbish with you or use the bins provided.

Will the toilets be open?

The toilets in the garden center shop will be open.

What happens if it rains?

With social distancing measures in place, if the shop already has a large number of people inside you may be asked to wait outside.  There is some covered space outside, but if showers are forecast you may wish to bring an umbrella, just in case!

Will we be able to feed the animals?

Not at the moment, sorry.  All of our animals enjoy a measured, balanced diet, so whilst some of them (especially the pigs!) may miss the fun of being fed by visitors, they will not go hungry.

Can we bring bread to feed the ducks on the ponds?

Please don’t bring bread for the ducks.  As with all our animals and birds, they are given plenty of specialist feed.  Bread is not particularly good for them, especially the younger birds, so we respectfully request that you do not throw bread or anything else into the ponds.  Thank-you.

Is there a discount for carers?

Carers are entitled to free entry if they are accompanying the person that they care for.
