Treat yourself or gift someone an unforgettable falconry day, offering a unique opportunity to get up close to stunning, intelligent hunting birds!
Experience Highlights:
- Introduction: Start your day at our base at Coolings Lifestyle, where you'll meet the team and get an overview of the day's activities.
- Falconry Talk: Our trained and experienced falconers will give a short talk about the history of falconry and the birds you'll be flying. You'll learn how we care for, manage, and handle the birds safely, and understand the necessary safeguards for the falconry field experience.
- Nature Trail: After lunch, head out into the beautiful 22-acre nature trail. Experience the excitement and thrill of watching a falcon in action as our falconer swings a lure to simulate an aerial battle between predator and prey. Then, venture into the woods with a Harris hawk.
- Photo Opportunities: End your day with a chance to ask further questions and have your photo taken with our birds.
Schedule:
- 10:30am: Basic falconry skills – behind the flying
- 12:30pm: Lunch
- 1:00pm: Basic falconry field craft and flying
- 3:00pm: Photo opportunities and goodbyes

- Minimum Age: 8 (Under 16s must be accompanied by a full-paying adult)
